Continuing Education Opportunities

WAPC offers live and online continuing education activities for perinatal professionals. The activities cover a wide range of important topics for professionals and providers across the perinatal spectrum.

The Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care is accredited by the Wisconsin Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Online Classroom

For over 40 years, WAPC has specialized in providing quality professional continuing education for perinatal care providers. WAPC incorporates the educational needs that underlie professional practice gaps of its learners into all continuing education activities. As such, these activities are designed to change competence and performance.

Regional Forum Series

Each year, WAPC offers a series of Regional Forums that focus on a single topic at the forefront of perinatal care. These are presented in each of the state’s seven perinatal regions with input from expert clinicians across the continuum of perinatal care. Previous topics have centered on mental health, opioid dependency, hypertension, and weight management among others.
